Website Profile

This website is primarily to act as a communication point for Kennett Village. Its primary use is to convey to the villagers details on the evolution of the Village plan. This is your chance to have your say on how the village should evolve, what needs to change and how we can improve as a community. The website can be used as a channel for comment on the village plan, what questions should be asked , how some of the issues raised can be resolved, offers of  help in it's implementation. 

 It's secondary use is to  provide details of the village ( it's history, places of interest, personalities past and present etc.)  In addition it will detail what activities, amenities, local services, local businesses are being carried out in the village (e.g. What services are available in St. Nicholas church, When the next car boot sale is on the recreation ground etc.) The information on the website is gathered from all sources so if you feel you want to contribute or that you have something of interest that should be included ( especially on the village history, services, activities)  then please E-Mail : comments@kennettvillage.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you have photo's that you wish to submit then it can be arranged to scan them into electronic format if required.

The quality and content of the website is very much down to the community, the more that is supplied the better the website will become.

Website Usage Notes:-

  • The Verticalbrown bordered buttons on the side of the page enable the user to select a topic e.g. St. Nicholas Church.

  • Most of the pictures are thumbnails and can be expanded to full size by double clicking on them.

  • The Horizontal Sand coloured buttons at the top of each page will enable you to return to the home page, leave some feedback, search for a particular item or look at the table of contents of the site.

  • Where a page is rather long and contains multiple headings, Button Text buttons have been added to help with navigation on that page
