Village Plan poster distributed in the Village

"Your village plan needs you"

25th July 2007 -- The Village plan steering group have placed posters in strategic parts of the village i.e. Parish Notice Boards , Local Pub and Post Office advertising the development of a Village Plan for Kennett. The poster is based around the well known Lord Kitchener poster demanding that "Your Country Needs You". The Kennett Village Plan Steering Committee have used a little political licence and changed this to: "Your Village Plan needs you" with a request for comments on what concerns you in the village or what you as a resident would like to be raised as a topic in the questionnaire that is to be distributed to residents in the village. The objective of the questionnaire is to identify issues and requirements that if resolved/ met will improve Kennett both as a community and its environment.

The current status of the village plan can be viewed as can a copy of the pre-survey document should one be required.
