Kennett Village establishes an internet presence

Kennett is on the Web !!!!!!!!!!

At last Kennett village in East Cambridgeshire has a presence on the web it's address is www.Kennettvillage.co.uk. The objective of the website is to communicate the development of the Kennett Village Plan, the results of a questionnaire and the subsequent action plan to meet the needs of the community.

The secondary purpose of the website is to convey to the world details of Kennett village as a community. The site contains details of local history, transport services, a gallery of pictures illustrating the village and it's places of interest. It will be seen over the next few months that the website will evolve into a point of reference for the local community and visitors alike.

"This is the first issue of the Kennett Village web site. This is where you will find out about what's going on in the village especially the development of the latest village plan. The objective is that the village as a community can also submit items that they would like to see on the website and also items that they feel that the rest of the world would like to see.

The website is very much owned by the community and as such is a view of the community. This is why this site will evolve over time.

On the home page there are a series of contact points please use them if you have something to say or would like to comment. Hopefully we can meet most of your demands both in content and presentation."
